I took an antibiotic as a teenager that actually stained my teeth. Unfortunately, this staining was not a type that could be removed by typical teeth whitening. I was told the staining was deeper in my teeth than usual surface stains, like from coffee, and bleaching would not remove them. I hated my teeth, and I never smiled. I had heard of dental veneers, so one day I asked my dentist if I was a good candidate. I found out I was! He even told me that there were new ones that did not require my natural teeth to be filed down too much before veneers were applied. Well, I had my front teeth covered in veneers, and they look so perfect now! I am so happy with the results. I created this blog to share my experience and let others know that there is hope for antibiotic staining.
